it's not hard to be respectful. it really isn't.

how much longer can we avoid the trivial topics?
how much longer can we accept each other's opposite opinions?

I just feel that someday
our real life opinions will drive us apart from each other
I don't want that
but I also cannot succumb to your outrageous ideals
and I know that you can't
or won't
succumb to mine.

is this even a conversation we need to have?
for some of you, YES
because you have no respect for me
and it's getting harder for me to respect you

I don't talk about the controversial topics around you
but you shove them in my face, with your annoying opinions
you make me feel insignificant
you make me feel like I'm wrong
and maybe for YOU I am
but not for everyone, and not for myself

So if you cannot accept and respect our differences
